Marie Ed "Zoko" Sostre is a 31-year-old Puerto Rican entrepreneur and creative from Las Piedras, Puerto Rico. With an associate degree in electricity and renewable energy, as well as a BA in electrical engineering, Zoko blends her technical expertise with her passion for creating.
Her artwork focuses on crafting unique and personalized lamps using a variety of materials such as copper pipes, wood, and antiques. Zoko aims to transform the concept of a lamp, creating not just sources of light but meaningful and memorable experiences.
Renowned for her sustainable approach, she repurposes discarded objects to give them new life. Each piece she designs represents a personal challenge and reflects her dedication to innovation, bringing light to spaces in a creative and distinctive way.
