SMALL TALK

A Solo Exhibition by Julia Rivera

Julia Rivera's exhibit, Small Talk, is a powerful exploration of identity, culture, and the interconnectedness of art and politics. Through her paintings of women, Rivera channels profound emotion and honesty, using her art as a platform to address crucial issues such as human rights, women's rights, and climate change. Rivera believes in the inseparable connection between art and politics, and in Small Talk, she invites viewers to engage with diverse political issues, sparking meaningful conversations through the language of art.

"It’s about respecting who you are and your culture. I paint paintings of women that inspire me with profound emotion and honesty. My work is a platform to express human rights, women rights, climate change, among others. In addition to loving art, I love politics.  In my world they are both connected. I want people to understand diverse political issues."
